Home Health Audit (HHA)

COURSE CURRICULUM

Course Overview

This program provides a holistic understanding of how the built environment affects human health, energy, and wellbeing. Students will learn to identify, measure, and correct unhealthy environmental factors through the principles of Building Biology, Energy Vastu, and Environmental Health Science.

BASIC LEVEL

Foundation in Healthy Living Spaces

Objective:

To introduce participants to the physical and energetic dimensions of health in relation to the built environment.

  • The Physical Body: Matter and Tangibility
  • Constitution & Inner Balance
  • The Three Principal Energies of the Body
  • What is Energetic Imbalance?
  • The Four Elements of Building Biology: Ecological & Environmental Foundations
  • Redefining Space – The Fifth Element
  • The Building as a Living Organism: “The Third Skin”
  • Introduction to Bau-Biology (Building Biology)
  • 25 Guiding Principles of Building Biology
  • Human & Space (Environmental) Interaction
  • Energy Exchange Between Humans and Built Spaces
  • The Role of Conscious Design in Human Wellbeing
  • Awareness exercise: “Sensing Space Energy”
  • Observation of space–body response through posture, breath, and emotion

Outcome:

Participants gain awareness of how human energy interacts with the energy of the built environment.
